After a long absence, fortyone-year-old Elodie, returns to the estate of her mother Sima, seventy-five. At Elodie's side: Sebastian, thirty-nine, her kind-hearted husband. The two want to conceive a child with the help of in-vitro fertilisation. If only they had the money! Sima steps in, of course, and introduces them to her surprise guest: The nine-year-old neighbour's daughter Elena. The evening takes its course.
