Nele and Dina are inseparable as friends and rowing teammates. However, Dina is currently struggling with a significant change in her body – her skin is becoming scaly and spikes are growing out of her back. Nele desperately tries to keep Dina in training. When Dina is faced with a decision and wants to embrace her transformation, not only their shared goal but also their friendship threatens to fall apart.
