After working in some of London’s finest restaurants – including The Mosimann’s Club, Petrus by Gordon Ramsay, Bibendum and Trivet – young chef Gilles Varone returns to Switzerland with a dream: to open his own gourmet restaurant in his small home village in the Valais mountains. More than a portrait, the film explores what it means to dedicate yourself entirely to your craft – and reflects on our relationship to food, nature, and time.
