Following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, a big wave of sympathy flowed towards America. But in less than two years, the United States destroyed this feeling of goodwill. Today, many Europeans don't like Americans anymore, and disapprove of Washington's war hungry politics. In turn, Americans don't understand Europeans anymore, calling them wimpy and ungrateful.
