Forty-year-old Nicky is a poorly groomed detective who works with anyone and everyone. He takes money wherever he can find it and has no qualms about turning his clients against each other. He is a smoker and owns a dirty, untidy one-bedroom apartment. He develops photos of his clients directly in his bathtub. However, he has a boundless passion for his work. But one day, a misunderstanding in his case will cost him dearly.
