Maya and her best friend Cecilia work in the memory transfer business. She hypnotises her customers and taps into their memories using machines.
When her traumatic childhood catches up with her, she sees erasing it as the only option.
The experiment goes wrong and Maya wakes up with Cecilia's childhood memories. The initial relief quickly gives way to confusion. Maya now sees her friend's mother as her own. But when Maya gets rejected, she realises that she alone can face her trauma.
