A shantytown in Nairobi of 1.2 million people. A six-year-old child decides to go to school against his parents’ will. Steve’s decision led him to live on the streets for eight years. Twenty years later he is a psychologist and he returns to Mathare, to help children who are abused, physically and sexually, like he was abused. Half of the children in shantytowns are abused. With his own money he built a kindergarten to teach children their rights.
