Dima is a Russian-born immigrant, who grows up in the italian-speaking part of Switzerland. He struggles to cope with his mixed cultural identity. This internal conflict surfaces and intensifies when he meets a Swiss girl in high school, while he also tries to help his economically struggling Russian aunt and attempts to leave room for his own ambitions and passions.
