A sailboat makes peaceful headway on a large lake. Aboard, a child of ten is dying of boredom in the company of its parents. Sensitive to every movement of the vessel, the child’s gaze takes in the universe, at once immense and miniscule. Suddenly, the heat of the sun disturbs the amateur yachtsman’s demeanour.
