Lazslo Somogyi Singer, a Hungarian Jew born in 1929, survived the Holocaust and Stalinism. A group of six young people have met him regularly during a full school year. Meanwhile, the filmmakers turn their look at this encounter between two generations and their respective realities. The film accounts the difficulty in collecting the words of a witness but also the absolute need to do it… while there is still time.
