Didier, a farmer who has been deaf since birth, lives in a remote house in the heart of rural France. Since the death of Claude, his brother and only companion, he has been faced with an immense void. To avoid being swallowed up by isolation, Didier finds refuge in his work caring for his cows. But his daily life is threatened by a crisis affecting the agricultural world that is beyond Didier's control. Deep in the mountains he cannot leave, Didier must face his fears and learn to form bonds. The film follows his daily struggle, driven by a vital challenge: reinventing his language, making himself heard and transforming his disability into strength.
