In southeastern Spain, a wall separates two worlds. A healthy world and a sick world, deemed contagious. Fontilles sanatorium was once a sanctuary for people suffering from leprosy. The filmmaker travels along this border, meeting witnesses from the past and present. Together, they become the storytellers of a disappearing world.
