In Southern Spain, a gigantic wall cuts through the mountains. It hides a village: Fontilles, the last leper colony in Europe. Cut off from the world to contain the spread of a supposedly contagious disease, Fontilles was also a heavenly refuge for lepers rejected by all. A portrait of this village. Characters from “inside” and “outside”, from the past and the present, come together, embodying and telling of a disappearing world.
