To do research into his family history, Göri Da Prada pays a visit to the valley archives. The archivist, an odd character, leads the young man to the reading room and leaves him there alone. When the lights go out Da Prada sets off looking for someone who can help him to put them back on and encounters some strange, long-dead characters.
Per fare delle ricerche sulla storia della sua famiglia, Göri Da Prada si reca agli archivi della valle. Un archivista eccentrico conduce il giovane in una sala di lettura e lo lascia solo. Rimasto al buio, Da Prada cerca qualcuno che possa aiutarlo a rimettere la luce. Incontrerà così strani personaggi, deceduti molti anni prima.
