More than 20 years after our collaboration in making “Die Kinder von Furna”, I returned to Furna with Heinz Lüdi, who was the children’s teacher at the time and is now a pastor of the Reformed Church in the Catholic canton of Fribourg. This report on the reunion with his former pupils underlines the difference between the hopes of “those who remained, those who left and those who have returned” – and reality. Whenever possible, “Jahre später” will be shown together with “Die Kinder von Furna”. (Christian Schocher)
