A page out of alpine history told by the best climbers of the last 40 years. The Tre Cime di Lavaredo, in the Dolomites, offer the most impressive concentration of overhanging mountain faces in the Alps. At the end of the 50's, the challenge between European climbers to be the “first” to climb the virgin faces was lively and hard-fought. Among those participating in the “duel” were two Swiss: Hugo Weber and Albin Schelbert, who attempted to climb the west face of the Cima in 1959. In a REBUS television program, the two protagonists recount the story of the competition between the best climbers of all time – a challenge with its fair share of excitement, thanks in part to the complicity of a woman.

Le Tre Cime di Lavaredo, nelle Dolomiti, offrono la concentrazione più impressionante di pareti strapiombanti di tutto l'arco alpino. Alla fine degli anni '50 la sfida tra gli alpinisti europei per assicurarsi, le «prime» delle ultime pareti vergini, era viva e combattuta: tra i «duellanti» anche due svizzeri: Hugo Weber e Albin Schelbert che nel '59 tentarono l'ascensione dello strapiombo sulla Cima ovest. A REBUS i due protagonisti rievocano la lotta tra i migliori arrampicatori di tutti i tempi, una sfida in cui, grazie anche alla complicità di una donna… i colpi di scena non mancarono…
