Heidi K., now in her 67th year, who while on a cruise fell in love with Gene, a sailor some 30 years her junior, has accompanied him to his home in the Philippines. Feeling shamed by her good fortune she decides to found her own aid agency. She thus manages to achieve her goal in life: not to end up as a frustrated old lady. A film of many variations on the theme of love and luck.
