In August 2020, Juliette travels to Myanmar to join her partner. There she meets Zu Zu, a seventeen-year-old girl running a food stall by the roadside. Zu Zu is waiting for the universities, closed because of Covid, to reopen so that she can fulfil her dream of becoming a policewoman. Gradually, a strong relationship develops between the two young women. On the 1st of February 2021, the country suffers a military coup, jeopardizing Zu Zu's ambitions and trapping Juliette in Myanmar. Their profound attachment to each other becomes their refuge.
Nell'agosto 2020, Juliette si reca in Myanmar per raggiungere il suo partner. Lì incontra Zu Zu, una ragazza di 17 anni che gestisce una bancarella di cibo sul ciglio della strada. Zu Zu aspetta la riapertura delle università chiuse a causa del Covid, per poter realizzare il suo sogno di diventare poliziotta. A poco a poco, tra le due giovani donne si sviluppa una forte relazione. Il 1° febbraio 2021, il Paese subisce un colpo di Stato militare che mina le ambizioni di Zu Zu e intrappola Juliette nel Myanmar. Il loro profondo attaccamento reciproco diventa il loro rifugio.
