The film explores the deeply human conflict between ambition and survival – and the lengths to which people will go to get ahead in life. Luz leads a group of fellow undocumented Filipino Workers in Switzerland, including her partner Aileen and Aileen’s son Shariff, who has become like a son to Luz. Together, they navigate the precarious balance of survival and solidarity in the stunning luxury holiday resort of Verbier.
