A film in the dioula language, the title of which - Doni-doni b'an bela - means “We all share a portion of the responsibility”. This is a reference to individual accountability as opposed to the cliché “prostitution-debauchery-HIV-aids”. Shot entirely in Burkina Faso in 2001 the main purpose of this film is to raise a number of questions and to establish a link between HIV-aids and relations between men and women: methods of seduction, the power of money, the domination of women by men, dialogue in the couple, the difficulties of “safe sex”...
