Nadir, the father of an immigrant family, works as a cleaner in office premises in Zurich. Despite the tough nocturnal job, he is trying to integrate in Switzerland and to offer his son Babak a better future. One evening, he is confronted with the fact that his son is seeking refuge in the very form of religion he himself turned away from long ago.
