Using the contributions of living witnesses and documents of the era, the changes in Switzerland during the last third of the 20th century are examined through the individual of Jean-Pascal Delamuraz, the emblematic figure of this period: a period whose events, debates and clashes are still resonating in the spirits and lives of the Swiss of 2016. While the growth of the 60s made way for the incertitude of the 80s and then gave rise to the crisis of December 6, 1992, the successes and defeats of this complex politician are discussed and put into perspective.
