A long-term observation, this testimony tells the historical and architectural events of the “Rössli” inn built in 1751 in Root, on the road from Zug to Lucerne. At the centre of the film is today's rural civilization in the midst of rapid change. The film deals with our cultural heritage and confronts the viewer with the present-day values.
