The poorhouse in a small village in Switzerland stands vacant. For decades, children and adults from the village – including many from the Yenish community – were forcefully placed there. The film quietly observes the traces of a silenced past. It weaves a fine web, touching upon the inconceivable history of the exclusion of those unwanted.
