This is a film about nothing and about happiness. Dispensing with a straightforward plot allowed for a great diversity of scenes which were created from ever-changing combinations of these two very different components: nothing and happiness. In one scene a woman who is lazing about relishes in her cosy contentment, while in another two lovers join in a tactile embrace that surpasses the boundaries of space and time. Composed like a piece of music, the arrangement of the events creates a cinematic hymn of praise whose images alone are new and fascinating, if not only because they were filmed in a vertical format not yet seen in the cinema, which allowed everything - people and places alike – to be seen in a new light.
