Philippe, an actor in his eighties, is overjoyed. He has been offered the role of Don Quixote in a contemporary adaptation of Cervantes' work. It's the big role he's been waiting for to bid farewell to the stage. But his age-related health problems made rehearsals difficult. Philippe is prone to memory lapses, dizziness and hallucinations. He tries to hide his failings, but those around him are not fooled.
