In 1988, Olivier Brodard made a six-month humanitarian trip in Afghanistan, under Soviet occupation. During his trip, he went to the Pansir Valley where he met the commander Massoud and shared the daily life of the Afghan people. He was a privileged witness of the situation. He took numerous pictures and wrote a daily roadbook. Upon his return to Switzerland, he had a terrible car accident. After several weeks in a coma, he awakened to find out that he has amnesia. Twenty years later, he accepts to search in his archives in order to be reminded of his Afghan trip. Persuaded that this quest will help him to recover one part of his own identity, Olivier decides to explore his memory.
