Nicole is a loving mother and a devoted wife. Her alcohol addiction has haunted her for years and it has somehow undermined her husband Roman’s commitment to their marriage. Nicole’s 8-year-old daughter, Lucy, is a lovely girl. However she’s suffering from some form of distress. The girl is often sad and her diaries reveal worrying speculations about life and death. When some inexplicable marks appear on Lucy’s body, Nicole understands that her daughter is in danger. Nicole will have to give up all her certainties in order to save her child. But will she have the strength to accept the truth?
Nicole è una donna attenta a controllare la propria vita fin nei più insignificanti dettagli. La sua piccola Lucy è una bambina di otto anni solitaria e problematica. Roman, suo marito, è un uomo affascinante e più vecchio di lei, colpevole di aver in passato messo a repentaglio il loro matrimonio con un tradimento. sogni inquietanti e inspiegabili tormentano Nicole. oscure presenze si manifestano all’interno e nei dintorni della loro isolata villa di montagna. La ragione non è più sufficiente a spiegare gli angoscianti fenomeni che si palesano.
