Grossvater war Angestellter in der Telefonzentrale Hottingen in den 1960er Jahren. Die Bedingungen am Arbeitsplatz werden zunehmend zur Belastung, am Ende sieht er keinen anderen Ausweg als Brandstiftung. Der biografische Kurzfilm mischt Animation mit historischen Dokumenten.
