Born in 1953 in Buhlbronn, Germany. Swiss citizenship. Former director of the Leipzig Film Festival, animation programme. 1995 Cofounder of Fantoche International Animation Festival. Works as programme curator for film festivals internationally, as filmmaker and as lecturer of history of moving images at the HSLU (Hochschule Luzern – Design & Kunst). 2007-11 co-director of the HSLU animation department.

Geboren 1953 in Buhlbronn (DE). Schweizerische Staatsbürgerschaft. Ehemals Direktor des Animations-Programmes am Filmfestival von Leipzig. 1995 Mitbegründer des Internationalen Festivals Fantoche. Arbeitet als Programm-Kurator für diverse internationale Animations-Festivals, als Filmschaffender und als Dozent der Filmgeschichte an der HSLU (Hochschule Luzern – Design & Kunst). 2007-11 Co-Direktor der Abteilung Animation, HSLU.
