Paul was born in Bern. As part of his diagnosis on the autism spectrum (ASD), film is his "specialty". In 2016, he began writing and realizing short film scripts and executing commissioned films. He combines his great passion for film with his openness to minorities. This is shown in his first short feature film SANS PAPIERS. The short film was nominated for the German Human Rights Film Award 2018, among others. In the feature film MAD HEIDI, he was used as a stage in script continuity due to his "strong sense of detail" (ASS). This was followed by various assignments as continuity in short films, feature films and series as well as completing the full-time course in script continuity in Berlin and further film training. He is also a member of the SSFV, Suissimage, Bern Für den Film and the Swiss Fiction Movement (SFM).
