Ju¨rg Egli was born in 1956 in Zurich, attended the photography masterclass at Zurich University of the Arts in the mid 80s after an architectural training at the world renowned architects Atelier 5, Bern from 73 – 78. His photographic training led him repeatedly to Berlin and New York, where he switched from the static to the moving image.
As electronic media artist, he won several awards and scholarships and had exhibitions at home and abroad.
This artistic aesthetic and visual quality can be found today in his work as a film director of commissioned and documentary film.
