Born in 1963 in Morbio, Switzerland. 1989-92 Studied Political Science, Sociology and Film Studies at the University of Zurich. 1992-97 Attended ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts). 1997 Received degree from ZHdK, Film and Video Department. Since 1997 works as screenwriter, cinematographer, director and producer. Since 2007 also lectures at the HSLU (Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art), video department.
