Frédy est photographe. Il doit subir une intervention chirurgicale ophtalmologique et craint qu'elle ne le rende aveugle. Cette angoisse, ajoutée à sa personnalité volontaire et renfermée, ne facilite pas la coexistence avec son entourage. Frédy décide d'attaquer le problème à sa manière. Du coup, il va ouvrir les yeux de façon insolite.
