Marie attend un enfant, elle attend aussi Martin, son mari, un businessman affairé. Elle s'occupe avec soin de son foyer, il est préoccupé par d'autres choses. Ils ne parlent plus le même langage. Une discussion houleuse éclate. Marie se métamorphose alors en un personnage étonnant.
