Dans le supermarché, on trouve des boîtes de conserve produites par la Dodo Food Company, un grand consortium international. Quelqu’un en saisit une et examine l’étiquette décorée d’un dodo. Brusquement, ce dernier revient à la vie et se retrouve sur un tapis roulant en plein milieu d’une bananeraie. Ainsi commence l’aventure du dodo fuyant l’usine de chair de banane.
