Par une nuit d’orage, le professeur Enzo Stefanelli sauve par hasard la vie d’une jeune homme, par ailleurs tueur de profession. Pour le remercier, le garçon lui promet d’éliminer un ennemi du professeur. Contra la volonté de celui-ci, le tueur se met en quête d’un ennemi potentiel dans son environnement professionnel et dans sa famille, créant le chaos dans la vie du professeur. Sceptique au début, Enzo finit par ouvrir les yeux sur sa vie et son entourage…
Una notte di pioggia il professore Enzo Stefanelli salva la vita a un giovane ferito da un'arma da fuoco. In cambio l'uomo colpito, un killer di professione, gli promette di trovare e uccidere un suo nemico, chiunque esso sia. Anche se Enzo insiste nell'affermare di non avere un nemico, il giovane si mette a cercarne uno, creando il caos nella vita del professore. Dapprima scettico, finalmente Enzo apre gli occhi sulla sua vita e sulle persone che lo circondano…
