Mexico City: A THREE-WAY TRIBUTE TO JLG

FICUNAM (Festival Internacional de Cine de la UNAM) will honour the late Jean-Luc Godard and Anne-Marie Miéville, with the screening of a selection of their respective films, as well as the last two short films by JLG presented in Cannes in 2024, SCENARIO and EXPOSE DU FILM ANNONCE DU FILM «SCÉNARIO». 

Swiss filmmaker and producer Fabrice Aragno who was Godard's principal collaborator in his final era of artmaking, will travel to Mexico to introduce the films and participate in talks around Godard's and Miéville's work. He will also supervise the Installation LE LIVRE D'IMAGE, that will take place at the Casa del Lago.

Last but not least, Fabrice Aragno will be rewarded the Filmoteca Unam Medal, a Medal instituted to recognize the work of personalities who, through their trajectory, activities, analysis and interventions in the world of cinematography, contribute to enriching the world's film heritage.
