Geboren 1978 in Mexico City. 2002 Bachelor-Studium in Kommunikationswissenschaften. Während des zweijährigen Masterstudiums am American Film Institute im Fachbereich Regie, erhielt er den “Filmanthropy Fundation” Preis und das ‘Daniel Petrie’ Stipendium. Mit seinem ersten Spielfilm MACHO (2010), gewann er ‘Best Micro-Budget Film’ am Raindance Film Festival in London. Sein Kurzfilm MAN IN A ROOM feierte seine Premiere im Wettbewerb des 67. Film Festival in Venedig und war Teil der offiziellen Selektion des Clermont-Ferrand Film Festivals. Palacios zweiter Spielfilm, BETWEEN US (2016) feierte Premiere am Tribeca Filmfestival und war der Eröffnungsfilm des Torino Film Festivals. Er lebt seit 2016 in Zurich und ist zurzeit in der Post-Produktion seines Films VIDA COMIENZA, VIDA TERMINA, den er in Argentinien und der Schweiz gedreht hatte. Zusammen mit Eleonore Meier führt er die Produktionsfirma NORA FILMS in der Schweiz.
