Olga Lamontanara
Producer
Born in Bari, Italy. Master in Arts & Cultural Management from Bocconi University, Milan. After experiences at the Cultural Section of Italy’s Consulate General in Porto Alegre, and at New York’s BAM performing arts centre, she served as Director’s Assistant and Head of Special Projects at Scuola Holden, Turin. In 2008, she was part of the team launching TorinoFilmLab, where she worked as Head of Communication until 2018, and designed tailor-made workshops for partners including Cannes' Semaine de la Critique and Locarno's Open Doors. In 2019, she started as a film producer in Lugano at Amka Films and Cinédokké, and at 8horses in Zurich. Since 2020, she is Head of Coproduction Forum for the Creative Europe – MEDIA-supported short film initiative European Short Pitch. Her producers’ credits include the feature films UNTIL BRANCHES BEND (2022) by Sophie Jarvis, LA CHIMERA by Alice Rohrwacher (Cannes Official Selection 2023 – Competition), NOWHERE by Simone Massi (Venice Orizzonti 2023), BODY ODYSSEY by Grazia Tricarico (PÖFF 2023), ELECTRIC CHILD by Simon Jaquemet (Locarno 2024), and the Swiss TV series ALTER EGO (2023).
