Ruben wird auf dem Weg zur Arbeit von neurotischen Zwangsvorstellungen heimgesucht. Ist die Wohnungstür verschlossen? Ist der Gasherd wirklich ausgeschaltet? Immer absurder wirkende Szenarien plagen Rubens kreativen Geist wodurch sich Realität und Fantasie langsam aber stetig ineinander vermischen.
