Vor sieben Jahren verlor Giulia ihren Mann David bei einem Unfall. Als eines Abends ein Unbekannter in ihr Taxi steigt, erkennt Giulia sein Gesicht und erinnert sich an einen ganzen Abschnitt des Unfalls. Giulia begibt sich auf die Suche nach der Wahrheit, aber sie hat nicht mit der Hartnäckigkeit eines mysteriösen Hackers gerechnet, der sie zum Schweigen bringen will. Um diesem Phantom zu entkommen, muss Giulia mit ihrem Sohn fliehen und sich in einen Zustand des «digitalen Todes» versetzen.
