Die Regisseurin Sophie erzählt von der Restaurierung eines Hauses, das sie von ihrem Lebensgefährten Tarik geerbt hat. Die beiden begannen zunächst, alles niederzureissen. Dann wurde alles wieder aufgebaut. Neben dem Gewicht der Schuttfässer kam noch das Gewicht der Träume und Werte ihrer Familien hinzu. Mit Behutsamkeit und Humor dekonstruiert Sophie das Patriarchat, den Kapitalismus und die Übertragung, um Raum für realisierbare Utopien zu schaffen.
