Gabriel Sandru

Cinematographer, Director

Born in 1974 in Vatra Dornei, Romania. Since 1997 works as production assistant, cameraman, editor and lighting for films and advertising spots. 2001-05 Attends ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste), Film and Video Department. 2005 Receives degree from ZHdK. 2016 Nomination Swiss Film Award, Best Cinematography for KÖPEK by Esen Isik. His visual talent and attention to detail continue in internationally recognised films such as ELECTRIC CHILD (2024) and AZOR (2021), for which he was once again nominated for the Swiss Film Award.
