Fabian Biasio was born in Zurich in 1975. He studied press photography at the MAZ, the Swiss School of Journalism. After a permanent as a press photographer at the Luzerner Zeitung, he went freelance in 2001 and photographed for various national and international newspapers and magazines and magazines (NZZ am Sonntag, TagesAnzeiger, Das Magazin, Le Temps, Beobachter, Schweizer Illustrierte, Schweizer Familie, Frankfurter Rundschau, Die Zeit, Spiegel, Geo Magazine etc.).
Today he works as a filmmaker, multimedia reporter and cameraman. The focus of his freelance work is on reportages and portraits from Switzerland and the whole world. He likes to keep an eye on long-term stories. Fabian Biasio lives with his family in Lucerne. He completed his Master of Arts in Film at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in 2023.
