Born in 1990 in Kiel, Germany. In his youth he cofounded an improvisational theatre group and created installations and performances. He moved to Berlin to work as a film critic for Negativ, while he shot his first short films. Finally he studied film directing at the Columbia University New York and the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, from where he graduated in 2019.
