Born in Iran. Grows up in Vienna. Joint Austrian and Iranian citizenship. Studied Media. Worked as graphic designer and screen designer in London and Vienna. 2005 Begins directing at the Österreichischer Rundfunk (ORF). Since 2005 works as independent filmmaker in Vienna.
