Liliane Amuat
Actor
Born in 1989 in Zurich, Switzerland, she studied acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna. After four years in the ensemble of Vienna's Burgtheater, she moved to the Residenztheater in 2019. In 2020 she received the Kurt Meisel Förderpreis for her performance in “Lulu”. For her lead role in SKETCHES BY LOU (2016), she was nominated for the 2017 Swiss Film Award for Best Actress and Best Newcomer at the Max Ophüls Film Festival, and also received the 2017 Swiss Television Film Award. In 2021 she received the Bavarian Arts Promotion Award in the performing arts category. She appeared THE GIRL AND THE SPIDER (2021) directed by the brothers Ramon & Silvan Zürcher. The film was awarded Best Director (ex aequo) and the FIPRESCI in the Berlinale's Encounters section. She also stars in DIE MITTAGSFRAU (2023) by Barbara Albert, which will be released in 2023. SALTY WATER (2023) in which she plays the lead role by Henrika Kull premieres at the Munich International Film Festival.
