Born in Bern in 1981. She studied translation at the University of Geneva and worked as a cultural journalist for print media during her studies. After training as a video journalist at regional broadcaster TeleBärn, SWR television in Mainz and ProSieben in Munich, she moved to London. 2007-11 foreign correspondent for media in German-speaking countries. She also worked in London for the Associated Press Television News agency and studied at the SAE Institute for Film and Music Technology. In 2011 she returned to Switzerland. There she worked for the news agency Keystone and then at the BAK (Federal Office of Culture). Since 2014, she has been responsible for documentary series at the cultural channel ARTE.
In 2011 she returned to Switzerland and joined the news agency Keystone in Zurich before moving on to the Federal Office of Culture in Bern. During her time there she was acting as editorial director and line producer for video portraits of authors Philippe Jaccottet and Paul Nizon, as well as taking part in shaping the digital strategy. Since 2014 she has been in charge of documentary series at the French-German cultural broadcaster ARTE.
