Born 1959. Lives and works in Berlin. Since the early 1980s Leupold created a parallel world with his black and white staged photographies. His work was shown in more than 50 exhibitions in Europe, Asia and the U.S and the images were published in various books and archived in international collections. Leupold is professor of photography at the University of Europe in Berlin.

Geboren 1959. Lebt und arbeitet in Berlin. Seit Beginn der achtziger Jahre inszenierte Leupold mit schwarz-weissen Fotografien eine Parallelwelt. In über fünfzig Ausstellungen in Europa, Asien und den USA wurden seine Bilder gezeigt und in diversen Büchern veröffentlicht sowie in internationalen Sammlungen archiviert. Leupold ist Professor für Fotografie an der University of Europe in Berlin.
