Né en 1970 à Bangkok. Nationalité thaïlandaise. Diplôme en Architecture de Khon Kaen University. Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking du School of the Art Institute, Chicago. Réalisateur, producteur et artiste contemporain. 2010 Palme d'or à Cannes pour «Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives». 2011 Dirige un atelier au Département Cinéma/cinéma du réel de la HEAD (Haute École d'Art et de Design) Genève.
